What outbid.ba is

A public leaderboard of businesses in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Position is determined solely by how much a business has paid for its listing. There are no reviews, no votes, no editorial selection and no revenue share. Every listing is a paid placement, and the site states so on every page.

What may be listed

• A business website, an Instagram profile, or a Facebook page.
• A phone number alone is not a valid destination.
• One destination holds one listing. Destinations are normalised before storage, so the same site cannot occupy two ranks under different addresses.

What is prohibited

• Chat and invite links. Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal and Viber invite hosts are rejected by the software before a listing can be created.
• Adult content. Known adult platforms are rejected the same way.
• Link shorteners. Submitted shortened links are resolved to their target and the target is validated instead.
• Affiliate and tracking links. Query strings are stripped from every stored destination.
• Anything unlawful under the law of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

How ranking works

• Amounts are whole convertible marks, minimum 2 KM, maximum 99.999 KM, in steps of 1 KM.
• Taking first place costs at least 5 KM more than the current leader. Any other position costs 1 KM more than the listing being passed.
• Equal amounts keep the order in which they were placed.
• Rank is never stored. It is computed from confirmed payments on every read, so the board cannot show a position that was not paid for.

Moderation

• Reporting. Anyone can report a listing at contact@ekibuilds.com. No account is needed and reports may be made by anyone, listed or not.
• Review. Reports are reviewed by the operator within three business days.
• Grounds for removal. Breach of these rules, unlawful content, impersonation of another business, or a legal or safety risk arising from the listing.
• Effect. A removed listing is deactivated, disappears from every board, and cannot be listed again under the same destination. Removal does not create a right to a refund.
• Corrections. A listed business may ask for its name, description, category or logo to be corrected at any time, at no cost.

Safeguards against fraud and abuse

• Payments. All payments are processed by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record. outbid.ba never receives, stores or transmits card data.
• Rank is granted only by a verified payment notification. The page a customer returns to after checkout never grants a rank — that address is under the visitor’s control and can be opened without paying. Rank is written only when the payment webhook arrives and its signature verifies.
• Webhook verification. Standard Webhooks: HMAC-SHA256 over identifier, timestamp and raw body, with a five-minute timestamp tolerance so an intercepted delivery cannot be replayed later. The write is conditional on the payment still being pending, so a repeated delivery changes nothing.
• Destination validation. Every submitted destination is parsed and checked before a listing exists. Credentials embedded in URLs, prohibited hosts and unresolvable addresses are refused.
• Minimal attack surface. There are no user accounts, no uploads, no comments and no messaging. The only text a customer supplies is a business name and one description line.
• Anti-squatting. Name and description can be overwritten only while a listing has no confirmed payment. Once a payment confirms, the text is locked, so nobody can claim a listing under another business’s name and leave it unpaid.
• Click integrity. Outbound clicks are counted once per visitor per hour and capped at ten per hour per network address, so click totals cannot be inflated. The address is stored only as a salted hash, never in readable form.

Payments and refunds

Payments are final and non-refundable. Being outranked later, receiving fewer clicks than expected, or removal for breaking these rules do not create a right to a refund. Disputes are handled through Dodo Payments.
